2006 Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Black cherry with a dark red due.
Nose: Cassis, blackberry, cherries, Satsuma plums, spices, mint and cedar.
Palate: A stylish, well weighted wine, mouth filling with an abundance of black currants, sweet Satsuma plums, red berries all encased in spices and fine grained tannins which abound. The finish has lingering plum and mixed berry flavours with soft acid.
The wine is exquisitely balanced with fruit and French oak, has great depth and length of flavour and will develop gracefully over many years.
Food: Rich gamy foods.
