Tasting Notes
Colour: Dark Cherry with red and light purple hues.
Nose: Vanilla, Lifted pepper, spice, plums, blackberry, mixed red berries, ground coffee, mocha.
Palate: A wonderfully weighted wine showing sweet Satsuma plum with an array of mixed berries and cherries, interwoven with vanilla, blackberries, spices, ground coffee and some lingering chocolate.
The palate is well structured being in balance with oak, both new and seconds, finishing with a veil of soft tannin and acid.
This wine will develop with careful cellaring for a number of years especially as it is sealed with a screw cap.
