OFFICIAL TASTING AUSTRALIA EVENT
SAVOUR THE YORKES

Head to Barley Stacks Wines for a family-friendly day of food, wine and music!
Savour The Yorkes, part of Tasting Australia, will showcase Yorke Peninsula's harvest across land and sea in a relaxed atmosphere.
Guests can graze their way through entree-sized dishes from local producers, learn about regional ingredients, and enjoy a laid-back afternoon pairing meals with Yorke Peninsula wines, beers and spirits.
Live music will be provided by local band Salt & Sea, featuring Caleb Raymond, Sarah Johnson and Darren Braund.

Nourished by Jo will serve a selection of Authentic curries, veggie loaded Two Cheese tart, soups featuring local SYP produce, apple cinnamon Up-side Down cake, handcrafted dessert slice selection, fresh baked choc chip & SYP Wattleseed cookies and specialty 'Birds Nest' cupcakes complete with handcrafted "nests" & eggs.
MBC Foods will be serving her popular menu featuring Wastacowie Beer battered King George whiting, MBC Foods salt & pepper Spencer Gulf prawn skewers, Flame grilled tortilla filled with Watsacowie beer battered King George whiting, slaw and chipotle mayo, nuggets & chips, warm chocolate & local red lentil brownie slice served with Golden North velvety chocolate ice cream, chocolate mousse & strawberry.
Yorkes Coffee Co, a boutique roasted based in Wallaroo, will offer fresh aromatic brews.
Babbage Farm is collaborating with Ks Delicious Catering to deliver a range of lamb sausage options - seaweed, plain and lemon & tumeric -- served with mashed potato and salad. They will also be offering lamb backstrap medallions.
We are excited to welcome newcomer Kathleen who is visiting us from The Coeliac Society of South Australia, for her first ever Tasting Australia event. On the day, Kathleen will be offering Gluten Free cupcakes and biscuits, while focusing on bringing awareness, support and advice to those affected by Coeliac Disease; Dermatitis Herpetiformis; Gluten Intolerance and other associated conditions. She will be sharing simple recipes that you can cook in the comfort of your own home, while having cookbooks available for purchase.
Entry is free, but bookings are essential via the Tasting Australia website.
